Celebrating the sun!

After 10 long days of rain, the sun finally came out!  The pasture is mush.  The road I live on is mush!  And the goats are turning to mush!  lol  So today when I went out to feed guess who decided to tag along?

If you remember, from an earlier post about Sophia, we had quite a scare back in August.  She had a horrible parasite infection and we almost lost her!  So the fact that Bubbles wants to spend time with her and watch over her is not that surprising!  Every day when I feed her I examine her eyes, check out her weight, and watch her behavior.  It’s fun to see her run for the milking stand, feel her belly getting bigger and know her eyes are the window to her soul!  And Bubbles likes knowing his soap comes directly from her sweet milk!

Now can we all dry out?  Those damn parasites love mud!

About soapsnstilettos

I started on this adventure in soap making as a way to become involved in my daughter's life. She had started her little goat farm and I had found goats milk soap on a trip I went on with my best friend Michele. I thought, "Hey! I've got goats, they've got milk, I could do this!" Well it wasn't exactly that easy but now I'm addicted! I formulate all of my soaps with my friends and family in mind and once you get a bar of my soap you are instantly my friend! Come follow all the craziness in my life and learn about my soaps too!
